After breakfast, begin your Kyrgyzstan adventure with a visit to Ala-Archa National Park, located in the spectacular Tian Shan mountains south of Bishkek. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the mountain valley, surrounded by alpine scenery, forests and snow-capped peaks.
Return to Bishkek for lunch before continuing with a city tour. Visit Ala-Too Square, the State Historical Museum area, Victory Square and Panfilov Park. In the late afternoon, explore Osh Bazaar, one of the city's most colourful traditional markets, offering dried fruits, nuts, spices, local food and handicrafts. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bishkek.
After breakfast, depart Bishkek towards Chon-Kemin Valley. En route, visit the historic Burana Tower, one of the best-known remnants of the medieval Silk Road in Kyrgyzstan. Explore the archaeological site and see the ancient balbals and stone carvings surrounding the tower.
Continue towards the peaceful Chon-Kemin Valley, an area of wide grasslands, forests and spectacular mountain scenery. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, with an optional horseback-riding experience through the surrounding countryside. Dinner and overnight in Chon-Kemin.
After breakfast, continue east towards Lake Issyk-Kul, one of Central Asia's most famous natural landmarks. Drive along the northern shore towards Cholpon-Ata, a resort town on the lake.
Visit the Cholpon-Ata Petroglyphs, an open-air archaeological site featuring ancient rock carvings believed to date back several centuries and reflecting the area's nomadic heritage.
Continue along the lake to Karakol, the cultural centre of eastern Kyrgyzstan. Upon arrival, visit the colourful Dungan Mosque, built in traditional Chinese architectural style, followed by the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral. Check in to the hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight in Karakol.
Today explore the spectacular mountain landscapes surrounding Karakol. Travel to Jeti-Oguz Gorge, famous for its striking red sandstone formations known as the Seven Bulls.
Continue deeper into the valley, passing forests, mountain meadows and dramatic Tian Shan scenery. Depending on weather and road conditions, enjoy a gentle walk in the valley or spend time taking photographs of the surrounding landscape.
Return to Karakol in the afternoon. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the town. Dinner and overnight in Karakol.
After breakfast, depart Karakol and travel along the scenic southern shore of Issyk-Kul. Stop at Skazka Canyon, or Fairy Tale Canyon, where centuries of wind and water erosion have created colourful red, orange and golden rock formations resembling castles and mythical figures.
Continue to Bokonbaevo, a traditional village famous for its nomadic culture and eagle-hunting traditions. Enjoy a cultural demonstration of traditional eagle hunting, subject to local availability and weather conditions.
Continue to your accommodation along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul. Enjoy dinner with views of the surrounding mountains and lake. Overnight in Issyk-Kul.
After breakfast, depart for Kochkor, a traditional Kyrgyz village renowned for its handicrafts and felt-making traditions. Visit a local workshop and learn how colourful shyrdak felt carpets are traditionally produced.
Continue by 4WD vehicles towards Song-Kul, travelling through spectacular mountain scenery and high mountain passes. As the road climbs, the landscape changes from villages and farmland to vast alpine pastures used by Kyrgyz nomadic families during the summer.
Arrive at Song-Kul Lake, situated at approximately 3,016 metres above sea level. Check into a traditional yurt camp and enjoy a freshly prepared Kyrgyz dinner. Experience an evening surrounded by mountains, open grasslands and the peaceful atmosphere of the highlands. Overnight in a yurt camp.
Wake up to the spectacular scenery of Song-Kul Lake. After breakfast, spend the morning experiencing traditional nomadic life. Take an optional horseback-riding excursion across the surrounding jailoo, or enjoy a leisurely walk around the lake.
Depending on the season, meet local shepherd families and learn about their traditional way of life, including the use of yurts, livestock herding and traditional Kyrgyz food. Lunch will be served at the yurt camp.
The afternoon is free to relax and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz dinner and, weather permitting, admire the exceptionally clear mountain sky. Overnight in a yurt camp
After breakfast, bid farewell to the highlands and descend from Song-Kul towards Kochkor. Continue the journey towards Bishkek, enjoying changing landscapes as the route descends from the mountains into the valleys.
Stop for lunch en route before continuing to Bishkek. Arrive in the capital in the late afternoon and check into the hotel.
The evening is free for shopping, relaxation or a final exploration of Bishkek. Enjoy a farewell dinner featuring Kyrgyz and Central Asian specialities. Overnight in Bishkek.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed final day in Bishkek. Visit any remaining sights or spend time shopping for local souvenirs, handicrafts, dried fruits and traditional Kyrgyz products.
Depending on the group's preference, lunch can be arranged at a local restaurant followed by free time at leisure. Have an early dinner before transferring to Manas International Airport for your departure flight.
