Discover the iconic Monument of Ismaili Somoni, dedicated to the founder of the Samanid dynasty and revered national hero of Tajikistan. Continue to the tranquil Botanical Garden, a beloved green oasis known for its centuries-old trees and peaceful atmosphere. After breakfast, you will adventure into the majestic Pamir Mountains begins as you travel along the legendary M41 Pamir Highway, one of the world’s most spectacular mountain roads. Passing through the Kulob region, we journey toward the Shurobod Pass (2,240 m), surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes and stunning panoramic views. 

En route, we stop in Kulob for lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the revered Mausoleum of Saiyid Ali Hamadoni, a significant cultural and spiritual landmark dedicated to the renowned 14th-century Persian Sufi scholar, poet, and Islamic preacher whose teachings influenced communities across Central and South Asia.

Continuing our journey, we ascend the scenic Shurobod Pass (2,212 m), where the terrain becomes increasingly rugged and breathtaking. Beyond the pass, the road follows the Panj River, which forms the natural border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan. This section of the Pamir Highway is one of the highlights of the journey, offering fascinating views of traditional Afghan villages on the opposite bank. Here, centuries-old customs remain deeply rooted, providing a rare glimpse into a way of life that has changed little over time.

As we travel alongside the river, take in the spectacular scenery of winding mountain roads, towering cliffs, and remote valleys before arriving in Kalaikhumb, a charming riverside town nestled along the banks of the Panj River. The peaceful setting and dramatic surroundings provide a memorable introduction to the wonders of the Pamir region.

After breakfast, today will continue your journey deeper into the heart of the Pamir Mountains as you drive toward Khorog, following the scenic course of the Panj River, one of the principal tributaries of the mighty Amu Darya. Throughout much of the journey, Afghanistan lies just across the river, providing unique opportunities to observe traditional village life and the striking landscapes of the neighboring country.

Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of rugged mountains, dramatic river gorges, and remote settlements that showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage. Continue onward to Khorog, the administrative center of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO). Situated at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level, this charming mountain town is nestled within a narrow valley where the Gunt and Panj Rivers meet. Surrounded by towering peaks and renowned for its relaxed atmosphere, Khorog serves as the cultural and economic hub of the Pamirs, offering a fascinating blend of natural beauty, history, and local traditions.

After breakfast, this morning, enjoy a guided exploration of Khorog, the picturesque capital of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in eastern Tajikistan. The route passes through Ishkashim, a small yet historically significant town situated at the gateway to the famed Wakhan Corridor. This remote region once served as a strategic buffer zone during the 19th-century "Great Game," where the rival ambitions of the British and Russian Empires met at the edge of Central Asia

Continuing along the northern bank of the Panj River, enjoy breathtaking views throughout the day. To the south rise the rugged peaks of the Hindu Kush in Afghanistan, while to the north stand the majestic Pamir Mountains, with numerous summits exceeding 6,000 meters. The dramatic landscapes, traditional villages, and fertile river valleys make this stretch one of the most scenic sections of the Pamir Highway

En route, visit the ancient Kah-Kaha Fortress in Namadgut, an impressive archaeological site that once guarded an important section of the historic Silk Road. After breakfast, this morning, set out to explore some of the most remarkable cultural and historical treasures of the Wakhan Valley. Begin with a visit to the sacred Bibi Fatima Zahra Hot Springs, a revered pilgrimage site renowned for its naturally warm mineral waters, which are believed by locals to possess healing properties. Nestled amid the dramatic mountain landscape, the springs hold deep spiritual significance and have attracted visitors for centuries.

Continue to the impressive Yamchun Fortress, one of the most iconic landmarks in the Pamirs. Dating back to the 4th–3rd centuries B.C., this ancient citadel once served as a vital defensive stronghold along the Pamir branch of the Great Silk Road. Perched high above the valley, the fortress offers not only a fascinating glimpse into the region’s rich history but also breathtaking panoramic views of the Wakhan Valley, the Panj River, and the mountains beyond.

After your visit, return to Yamg Village for lunch. In the afternoon, explore the m useum dedicated to Muboraki Wakhoni, a renowned local astronomer, poet, philosopher, and Sufi mystic. Here, you will discover his remarkable contributions to science and spirituality, including his ingenious solar calendar. After breakfast, today, embark on one of the most spectacular drives of your Pamir adventure as you journey toward Murghab through the remote and breathtaking landscapes of the Eastern Pamirs. Traveling through the rugged Wakhan region, the route crosses two high mountain passes — Khargush Pass (4,344 m) and Nayzatosh Pass (4,314 m) — offering extraordinary views of vast plateaus, pristine alpine valleys, and dramatic mountain scenery.

Along the way, pass through Alichur Village (3,863 m), a small settlement set amidst the stark beauty of the Pamir Plateau. The village’s name is often translated as “Ali’s Curse,” reflecting local legends and folklore. Continuing across the vast high-altitude plains, traverse the Nayzatosh Pass before descending toward Murghab, the highest town in Tajikistan. On clear days, you may catch distant views of the majestic Muztagh Ata Peak (7,546 m), known as the “Father of Ice Mountains,” one of the most iconic summits in the greater Pamir and Kunlun mountain systems. Arrive in Murghab and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of this remote outpost on the roof of the world.

After breakfast, today, embark on an unforgettable excursion to the remote village of Karakul, traversing some of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring landscapes of the Pamir Mountains. The journey follows a spectacular section of the Pamir Highway, crossing the legendary Ak-Baital Pass (4,655 m) — the highest road pass in the former Soviet Union and one of the highest drivable passes in the world. Known as the “White Horse Pass,” this remarkable crossing offers breathtaking panoramic views of rugged peaks, vast plateaus, and sweeping alpine scenery, earning the Pamirs their famous title as the “Roof of the World.”

As you travel through this remote high-altitude wilderness, marvel at the stark beauty of towering mountains, expansive valleys, and ancient glaciers sculpted by time. The landscape gradually opens to reveal the magnificent Karakul Lake, a striking turquoise lake believed to have been formed by a meteorite impact millions of years ago. Surrounded by barren mountains and vast open skies, the lake’s crystal-clear waters create a surreal and unforgettable setting unlike anywhere else in Central Asia.

Upon arrival, enjoy lunch in Karakul Village, a small settlement perched on the shores of the lake. Take time to appreciate the tranquility and isolation of this remote community while soaking in the spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and  pristine waters. 

In the afternoon, begin the return journey to Murghab, retracing your route through the majestic landscapes of the Eastern Pamirs. Along the way, enjoy further opportunities to admire the region’s extraordinary scenery, where endless horizons, dramatic mountain vistas, and untouched wilderness create lasting memories of one of the world's most remote  and beautiful regions. 

After breakfast, this morning, depart from Murghab and begin your journey toward Kulma Pass, the highest international border crossing in Central Asia and the gateway between Tajikistan and China. 

As you approach Kulma Pass (approximately 4,360 m), the scenery becomes increasingly impressive, with sweeping panoramas of rugged mountain ranges stretching to the horizon. Situated along the historic route linking the Pamirs with western China, the pass serves as an important modern trade corridor while also symbolizing the long-standing cultural connections between the peoples of Central Asia.

At the border crossing, your Tajikistan tour arrangements come to an end. After bidding farewell to your guide and driver, proceed independently through immigration and customs formalities before continuing your onward journey into China, taking with you unforgettable memories of the legendary Pamir Mountains and the Roof of the World。After crossing the Tajik–Chinese border at Kulma Pass, travelers enter Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous Province in western Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The province is culturally linked to the Pamir region of Tajikistan and serves as the gateway to the historic Silk Road city of Kashgar. You will meet the representative from China and will be transferred to Tashkurgan County.

After breakfast, set off to explore the breathtaking Pamir Plateau, often known as the legendary “Roof of the World.” Surrounded by vast grasslands, crystal-clear lakes, and snow-capped peaks, this remarkable region offers some of the most spectacular high-altitude scenery in Central Asia.

 In the late afternoon, gather at the scenic area and board a desert off-road vehicle for an exciting 30-kilometer journey into the heart of the desert. Discover towering sand dunes, ancient Populus euphratica (desert poplar) forests, and the famous Wish Tree, where a complimentary red ribbon will be provided for you to make a blessing or wish

 As evening approaches, witness a breathtaking desert sunset as golden hues illuminate the vast landscape. Continue with a guided walk across the dunes, followed by a traditional desert bonfire gathering and an evening sharing session beneath the star-filled sky, creating a truly memorable desert  experience

Next, explore the enchanting Kashgar Old City, one of the best-preserved historic quarters along the ancient Silk Road. Wander through its maze of narrow alleyways lined with traditional Uyghur homes, bustling bazaars, teahouses, and workshops, immersing yourself in the unique atmosphere of this historic trading center.

Conclude your journey at the magnificent Id Kah Mosque, one of the largest and most important mosques in China. Admired for its impressive architecture, expansive courtyard, and cultural significance, the mosque stands as a symbol of Kashgar’s rich Islamic heritage and centuries-old role as a crossroads of civilizations

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local representative and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch

Following lunch, proceed to your hotel for check-in and some well-deserved rest after your journey. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to explore Chengdu at your own pace. Take the opportunity to stroll through the city, enjoy some last-minute shopping, or soak in the relaxed atmosphere of Sichuan’s vibrant capital. Dinner will be on your own, giving you the freedom to sample Chengdu’s famous local cuisine and discover the city's lively streets, teahouses, and shopping districts
